Stamped DOT BE XX XXX XXX
Almost all tires record on the side wall where they are made (made in USA). But not all of them do, so you need to look on the side wall for the DOT #. The BE after the DOT means this BF Goodrich tire owned by Michelin was made in Tuscaloosa, AL.
The last 4 xxxx of the DOT is the day and year that tire was made. For example:3210 would be the 32 week of 2010. Remember you do not want your tires too old when buying new ones. Below is a list of more American plants and their 2 letter code that appears after DOT.
As we noted on the Home page one source is Tirerack.com for information on where tires are made. When you go there you can enter your tire size and look at large number of tires. If you spot a tire you're interested in, click on that tire and then on the "SPECS" tab. This will tell you where that tire was manufactured.
Remember the only 100% sure way to tell where your tire is made is to physically look at the tire's side wall.
